Sharon Osbourne has announced that she is the new celebrity ambassador for the Atkins brand. Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. is one of the most popular weight loss systems on the market. Sharon joined the program to lose weight and get healthy for her 60th birthday.

The Atkins program follows the low carbohydrate science philosophy. When you eat a low carbohydrate diet, your body starts taking its energy from fat instead of sugar. As of now she has lost over 25 pounds and feels great. Atkins is thrilled to have her as their ambassador.
