While exercising may not be a secret tip per se it is very important if you want to age gracefully. As we age we naturally lose muscle and exercising regularly will help you maintain and build the muscles you need to keep your independence! Exercising will also help maintain/improve joint health, bone health, and flexibility.
Further, exercising also releases endorphins which are feel-good hormones that make us feel happy, relaxed, and more energized! It’s recommended that seniors get about 150 minutes of exercise per week. You can break that up into five 30-minute workouts throughout the week.
