2. An Infection is a Red Flag
The first step to the emergence of sepsis is an infection, which takes place when germs multiply inside a specific part of the body, resulting in illness, organ damage, and tissue deterioration.
There are a few types of infection that are more likely to lead to sepsis, including pneumonia, kidney infection, skin infection, and afflictions of the digestive system. The germs associated with staph, E.coli and strep often cause sepsis to emerge.
